Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kirei Press services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kirei Press regarding your use of our laundry and dry cleaning platform.

Service Description

Kirei Press provides on-demand laundry and dry cleaning services throughout Tokyo, including scheduled pickup, professional cleaning, pressing, and delivery of garments. Our platform connects customers with a vetted network of neighborhood cleaning professionals.

Services include but are not limited to: regular laundry and pressing, dry cleaning, same-day service, weekly subscription plans, and specialized garment care.

User Accounts and Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Service Areas and Availability

Our services are currently available in select areas of Tokyo. Service availability may vary by location and time. We reserve the right to modify service areas and availability at any time without prior notice.

Pickup and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, traffic, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Pricing and Payment

Pricing for our services is clearly displayed on our platform and may vary based on service type, location, and demand. All prices are in Japanese Yen and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment is due at the time of service booking. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our platform. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all services ordered.

Garment Care and Liability

We take great care in handling your garments, but certain items may be unsuitable for our cleaning processes. You are responsible for checking garment care labels and informing us of any special requirements or concerns.

Our liability for lost or damaged items is limited to the fair market value of the item, not to exceed ¥50,000 per item or ¥200,000 per order, unless you purchase additional coverage.

Prohibited Items

Certain items are prohibited from our cleaning services, including but not limited to: items contaminated with hazardous materials, leather goods requiring specialized treatment, items with excessive wear or damage, and garments with non-removable decorations that may be damaged during cleaning.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any items we deem unsuitable for our cleaning processes.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your service request up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Refunds for completed services will only be provided in cases of service failure or damage caused by our negligence, as determined by our quality assurance team.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your garments are ready for pickup at the scheduled time and that access to your location is safe and appropriate.

You must not interfere with our operations, harass our staff or partners, or use our platform for any fraudulent or illegal activities.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Kirei Press and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our express written permission.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue our services at any time, with or without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately, but these Terms will remain in effect regarding any prior use of our services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kirei Press shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, in accordance with the rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association.

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against Kirei Press.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable laws. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the effective date.

Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
